Brainspotting ~
Where we look affects how we feel.
Brainspotting was discovered in 2003 by David Grand, Ph.D. As of today over 20,000 therapists have been trained in Brainspotting.
Brainspotting is rooted in neurobiology highlighting how the brain stores and processes trauma. Brainspotting can work for anyone by giving you a way to bypass your cognitive thinking processes and go to the neo-cortex to get deeper with the body-based processes of the brain.
With focus and precision we can find an eye position or “brainspot” where you are holding trauma, anxiety, depression or relational problems in the brain and process them from the inside-out or “bottom up”.
Brainspotting can be the main type of treatment you receive in session or it can be integrated into your treatment for a deeper healing and processing experience.
It’s time to face what’s holding you back from being your best self. I’m ready when you are.
